The bees arrived on Tuesday and the installation went off without a hitch. It has been a bit on the cool, drizzly side the past couple days. That makes for a better installation because the bees will want to hunker down and get more acclimated to their surroundings. Which means that they will be more likely stay in the hive permanently with the new queen.

The bees were installed in the middle of the hive between two follower boards. The follower boards are the ones with the screws in them - the space is 6 bars wide.
