Great Book for the Backyard Barnyarder

I picked up this book at the library last week and it's very informative. If you're just starting out raising chickens and thinking of adding other farm animals this is perfect! It gives a run down of the ins and outs of raising: chickens, ducks, rabbits, goats, sheep, and cows. The book goes over the different types of breeds within the species. Such as meat bird breeds vs. egg laying within the chicken chapter.  It breaks down animal care needs and handling techniques. It's an all around guide to starting your own mini farm. It even goes into the business opportunities of each type of animal. I'm thinking about buying a copy to have on hand so I don't have to keep renewing it! :-D
