Last night was the first snow of the season. It dropped down to a brisk 23° last night. I'm doubting that my bees are faring well... considering they went into the season without any reserves. In a couple days I will take a peek at the hive through the bottom screen. If there are dead bees and no buzzing when I knock on the side, it will be time to take the comb out and get it ready for the spring.
