First Easter Egg!

On my way out today, I stopped and said hello to my Eglantine- one of my easter eggers. She was digging around in the compost, which is not odd by any standard for my chickens. When I got home, Easter had come early this year. There was a beautiful blue egg nestled in the corner of my compost! Okay, so she didn't lay it where she was supposed to, but it's her first so I'll give her some leniency.
